Most professions have professional qualifications that are relatively inexpensive to take and don’t require very long periods of study. By achieving accreditation with a relevant professional body, you will immediately be taken more seriously.
You may also want to consider simply working very hard in your role and climbing the career ladder in your organisation. Many business leaders started in jobs with no education at all, but built their experience through the years.
