The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) is undergoing a transformative shift. Maksym Krippa, the owner of NAVI, has appointed its new president. According to 365news.com.ua, this significant change is part of a broader restructuring to revitalize the organization’s leadership and boost Ukraine’s esports landscape.

UESF Leadership Overhaul
The Ukrainian Esports Federation is preparing to overhaul its leadership structure. Maksym Krippa, a prominent businessman and investor, is set to lead the transformation. Under this new direction, all current board members will be replaced with figures from top Ukrainian esports companies, such as NAVI and Maincast. This shakeup is seen as a strategic move to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to the organization, positioning Ukrainian esports for further growth and attracting more resources to support international tournaments.
New UESF Management Team
Alongside Krippa’s leadership, the UE SF’s new management will include several key figures from the esports sector:
- Vitaliy Volochay, co-founder of Mainсast, is known for his expertise in esports broadcasting;
- Yevhen Zolotarev, CEO of NAVI, a veteran esports manager;
- Andrii Gorodenskyi, Head Coach of NAVI, a seasoned trainer with extensive experience in esports;
- Oleksii Kucherov, NAVI’s Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for overseeing the club’s development;
- Mikhail Zverev is a renowned esports analyst and commentator.
Additionally, Andriy Hrytsenko, who previously worked with NAVI to organize tournaments, will become the Executive Director of UESF.
Implications for Ukrainian Esports
Maksym Krippa’s appointment as president of the UESF has the potential to reshape Ukraine’s esports sector. His proven track record with NAVI and Maincast highlights his commitment to attracting new investors, expanding opportunities for local players, and refining tournament operations. The leadership changes are also expected to foster closer collaboration with government entities, paving the way for legal recognition and further development of esports at a national level.
Although official confirmation of the restructuring has not been released, sources suggest an announcement may be made soon. The newly restructured UESF will focus on promoting esports among younger generations, organizing international competitions, and forging stronger partnerships within the global esports community. These initiatives could elevate Ukraine’s esports standing and ensure its worldwide competitiveness
