Humaniq faces had the pleasure of interviewing Susanne Chishti. Susanne Chishti is the CEO of FINTECH Circle, Europe’s 1st Angel Network focused on fintech opportunities, Chairman of FINTECH Circle Innovate and Co-Editor of the Bestseller “The FINTECH Book” which has been translated into 5 languages and is sold across 107 countries.

Susanne is recognised in the European Digital Financial Services ‘Power 50’ 2015, an independent ranking of the most influential people in digital financial services in Europe. She has been selected as top 15 FINTECH UK twitter influencer and as a “City Innovator – Inspirational Woman” in 2016. She has also been a fintech TV Commentator on CNBC and is a guest lecturer on financial technology at the University of Cambridge. After completing her MBA she started her career working for a fintech company (before the term “fintech” was being invented) in the Silicon Valley 20 years ago. She then worked more than 15 years’ across Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, Morgan Stanley and Accenture in London and Hong Kong. Susanne is an award-winning Entrepreneur and Investor with strong FINTECH expertise.

She is a Mentor, Judge & Coach at FINTECH events and competitions such as SWIFT Innotribe, Fintech Startup Bootcamp and Barclays Techstars Accelerators. She is also a conference speaker at leading fintech events globally. The WealthTECH Book, The InsurTECH Book and The RegTECH Book will be published by Wiley in January 2018. In summary, within 3 years Susanne has built up a global community of 75,000 fintech entrepreneurs, investors, financial services professionals globally (www.fintechcircle.com) and launched an award-winning fintech book series. In addition, she co-founded FINTECH Circle Innovate (FTCI), an advisory practise whose clients include leading financial institutions such as BNP Paribas and UK’s innovation agency NESTA which appointed us as partner for the £5million Open Up Challenge Prize to work on Open Banking initiatives for SME Banking in 2017.
