If the blockchain is set to become a pillar in the ongoing fourth industrial revolution, it needs the best showcase where to let the world now how a game-changer this technology is. And it is also hard to imagine a better place then New York, a city where evolutions in culture, industry, finance and technology lead the way for the rest of the world. Now, with the blockchain breakthrough just about to thrive, it will also lead the ‘Blockchain (R)evolution’ in an upcoming event the next 13 May.
The event will feature the most impressive companies and projects in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space through the eyes of their masterminds. All the projects featured in this event have real teams, funding, products built, and are setting boots on the ground and are already impacting the world in some way.
A good example would be the display case of the healthcare-focused company lifesdna, the world’s first blockchain search engine for secure healthcare, wellness and lifestyle data powered by distributed ledger technology (DLT) and artificial intelligence, which will see at the Blockchain Revolution its debut.
The other great project this event will showcase is Shivom, “a unique and empowering Project, which will enable DNA data donors to collaborate with revolutionary changemakers in biotechnology, healthcare industry, and government-ordained research institutes and contribute to an unprecedented era of medical marvels.”
Both advanced companies will have extra dedicated time on the event on which both founders, Dinis Guarda, for lifesdna and Sally Eaves, for shivom, will expose their projects widely.
Although these are for sure not the only projects and top-blockchain players this event will host the next Sunday.
Yahoo! Finance, Alex Tapscott, co-author of the book “Blockchain Revolution,” will be present at the event to showcase updates to the book and the evolution of the DLT revolution. The latest release of his book reveals how artificial intelligence, medical research, government records, healthcare and social impact projects will be particularly influenced by blockchain technology, which has increased in speed, transparency and inclusivity.
Last but not least, the event will also welcome John Edge, MIT Connection Science fellow as well as cofounder and chair of ID2020; Darren Camas, advisor at Emurgo, a venture builder for the Cardano blockchain (ADA); the already mentioned Dinis Guarda, founder and CEO of lifesdna and Sally Eaves, co-founder of Shivom.io and member of the Forbes Technology Council; Richard Titus, founder and CEO of Ark Advisors and Producer of “Who Killed The Electric Car,” Jonny Fry, chairman and co-founder of lifesdna, among other industry leaders.
“Blockchain is becoming mainstream in 2018, and these technologies are becoming the new ‘trust’ protocol of our time. All sectors of society are being challenged by new decentralized models of distributed tech, smart contracts and token economics. Crypto and blockchain are the default foundational technology and platforms to change the world. But how can we do it?” said Dinis Guarda, an accomplished author and founder. “We are thrilled to feature the best minds, opinion projects and key opinion leaders who will reveal the exciting evolution of blockchain in terms of society, business, technology, finance and culture.”
The event will take place at 5 p.m. on May 13 in the West Village, New York, with tickets still available here.
